Rachael Abramson Repak  |  Principal Broker

With comprehensive knowledge of the DC real estate market, Principal Broker Rachael Abramson brings 14 years of investment, financing and legal expertise to Capitol Asset Realty - in addition to marketing savvy & skill.  Rachael is a DC and Maryland-barred attorney who formerly represented most of the country’s largest mortgage lenders amidst the nation’s largest foreclosure crisis in history.  Her background in real estate litigation gives her a unique edge when evaluating value, closing a deal and smoothing over the process for her clients.

With a personal passion for investing in residential and commercial real estate, and experience with large scale rehabilitation projects, her keen eye for high potential translates into dollars for her sellers and buyers.

Rachael put down roots in the District and currently lives in Chevy Chase with her family of 5.  Rachael grew up in Florida, received her bachelors degree at Boston University, studied abroad and ultimately graduated from law school at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law – cementing her claim to Washingtonian status.

Whether you're single or raising children, Rachael can relate.  She has lived in and experienced the Washington D.C. area behind both lenses.  Navigate your future with someone who knows what she's talking about - and knows how to execute.

Before tailoring her job to real estate full time, Rachael spent her early career as an Associate County Attorney for Prince George’s County, Maryland, approving commercial development bonds and negotiating contracts, which led to large scale litigation involving contractor disputes and breach of contract claims.

In addition to her legal background, Rachael spent years working as a journalist, based in foreign countries such as China, Singapore and Israel.  She holds out relationships and communication as the single facilitator of all deals – and the cornerstone of client satisfaction.
